Project Manager

A Multi-National EPC is expanding their presence in North America and are seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to join its team and be part of exciting new ventures. This position reports directly to the VP of Operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, monitoring, risk management and completion of projects, proposals, and major subcontracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the leadership of project culture including safety, employee relations and employee welfare
  • Monitor the progress and performance of all Project Team functions
  • Develop the Project strategy with respect to the use of resources, joint venture participants, consultants, subcontractors, and Client resources for scope of work
  • Ensure that all required inter-company contracts and/or joint venture agreements are executed
  • Develop a project schedule that coordinates all activities and resources required to complete the contract
  • Ensure all documentation is properly created and maintained protecting & enhancing commercial position with clients and subcontractors
  • Institute project control procedures to facilitate the monitoring of progress and productivity of all activities and the preparation of performance reports
  • Prepare a project budget based on the project estimate and institute a cost control system, including responsibility for cash flow and profitability of the project
  • Supervision and engagement of project team to ensure high level communication and performance to achieve success
  • Contribute to proposal submissions and review all bid documentation including bid estimate

Basic Qualifications:

  • Engineering Degree
  • Project Management accreditation or equivalent
  • 10-20 years’ experience in onshore/offshore construction and Engineering activities working in onshore and offshore installation, hook up, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and hand over processes
  • Demonstrated project management experience within the Oil & Gas and petrochemical industry
  • Significant Experience within the Construction and Engineering industry
