Mechanical Lead

Position Overview:
Our client is looking to hire two lead mechanical foreman responsible for overseeing installation, maintenance, and quality control of SCR and BOP mechanical systems at a power plant. Manage on-site crews, ensure safety compliance, and maintain alignment with project specs and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise mechanical crews installing SCR units, piping, pumps, valves, and other BOP equipment
• Coordinate daily work aligned with project schedules and engineering blueprints
• Enforce OSHA and site safety protocols to maintain safe working conditions
• Inspect completed work for quality and compliance with design and regulatory standards
• Oversee installation of key components such as SCR reactors, ammonia injection systems, and BOP systems (cooling, fuel handling, etc.)

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in power plant mechanical construction
• Expertise in SCR systems and balance of plant mechanical operations
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills
• In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and quality control standards
