Estimator

We are seeking a sharp and detail-driven Estimator to join a well-established manufacturing team in Northwest Houston. This role plays a key part in quoting complex projects for industries like aerospace and oil & gas. Responsibilities:

• Evaluate technical drawings, blueprints, and RFQs to create accurate project cost breakdowns
• Work with trusted suppliers to gather pricing for materials and subcontracted services
• Input job specs, materials, and routing details into ERP systems (E2/JobBOSS or ECI)
• Partner with sales and operations to deliver quick-turn, data-backed quotes
• Keep cost history and pricing trends organized for future reference
• Play an active role in refining the estimating process and improving efficiency

Qualifications:

• Around 5–6 years of experience estimating in a machining or manufacturing setting
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with ERP tools (bonus points for E2/JobBOSS or ECI knowledge)
• Hands-on understanding of materials, precision machining, and job shop operations
• Prior exposure to high-spec industries like aerospace or oil & gas
• Organized, proactive, and comfortable juggling multiple timelines and priorities
• Degree in Engineering or a related technical field is a plus, but not required
